Water and heating pipes
We offer different types of pipes, from different types of materials and for different uses. The most common pipe for heating and water distribution is plastic-aluminum pipe. Sometimes known as PEX-AL-PEX with a diameter of 16 mm. The pipe consists of several layers, the outer plastic (usually white), medium aluminum with a diameter of 0.2 mm, which serves mainly as an oxygen barrier against the penetration of oxygen into the heating pipes and the inner plastic pipe made of harmless material.
Plastic-aluminum pipes can be used for all types of installation, whether for radiator heating, underfloor heating or water distribution. The advantage is their low price, rigidity and versatile use. Other less used pipes such as PEX, PERT or polybutylene are used more often for specific types of use. Thus, they do not provide overall versatility and sometimes need to be used with specific types of couplings or fittings.
