Heating rods are used for electric heating of a rail radiator. It is inserted directly into the radiator via a special T-piece, which is adapted to a combination of an electric rod and classic heating water. The advantage of such solutions is mainly the heating of the ladder even when the boiler is not in operation, for example in summer or transitional periods. Electric spirals are divided according to power, from 150 W up to 2000 W designed for large ladder radiators. It is also possible to connect a socket thermostat (a device for setting the temperature) to the electric spiral, with which we can regulate either the heating time and, of course, the temperature.
