It consists of a TTUV1 control module, a TTUV2 switching module and a temperature sensor. The TTUV1 control module provides setting of the thermostat switch-off temperature and the difference (difference) between the thermostat switch-off and switch-on temperature. Two separate setting elements are used to set these parameters. The TTUV2 switching module supplies the TTUV thermostat and contains an output relay with a changeover contact. The switch module is built into a plastic box with a mains plug. The temperature sensor is supplied with a 180 cm supply.
This type of thermostat was developed for the needs of charging the DHW tank in order to limit the switching frequency of the charging source - mostly a gas boiler. The difference between the switch-on and switch-off temperature of approx. 30 ° C is used for this. Due to its versatility, the TTUV thermostat can also be used in a number of other applications. The ADEX TTUV electronic thermostat is used to maintain the temperature in the selected range by controlling the heat source using the changeover contact of the relay. By selecting the size of the range between the switch-off and switch-on temperature, the frequency of switching the heat source can be determined. Thanks to the changeover contact of the relay, applications for cooling or ventilation can also be found. When the set temperature on the connected sensor is reached, the TTUV thermostat switches off the output relay. When the temperature drops by the set difference, the output relay switches on.
