Adex Midi 2010 – regulation for reverse protection
Adex Midi 2010
The ADEX Midi 2010 controller is used to control wood boilers, which are equipped with a built-in time and temperature control of the boiler and only require the control of the mixing valve. This controller is also suitable for systems with storage tanks and for gas boilers where there is no requirement for automatic switching on and off of the heating system.
The ADEX MIDI 2010 controller is designed to control a mixing valve for mixing the required water temperature according to the V temperature sensor.
It also switches the circulation pump in several modes, the most important being switching according to the temperature difference on sensors K and V. This is used as in boiler circuits, when the pump switches off when the boiler stops giving power (eg solid fuel boiler goes out) this will reduce losses in the boiler. In the case of a system with a storage tank, this prevents the storage tank from being discharged back into the boiler.
Another use is switching the circulation pump according to the temperature difference in systems with a solar collector. Here, the charging of the storage tank or DHW tank can be regulated.
In some simple systems, the controller can be used to regulate the heating water temperature to a preset value. The circulation pump can have a set deceleration after switching off the room thermostat.
- controls the mixing valve
- allows you to prevent the system from cooling down
- works with external sensor
- does not control the boiler or circulation pump
